How a draw works
How we prove every draw is fair-
Step 1
You buy tickets
Pick a raffle and how many tickets you want. You pay securely through Paystack, and your ticket numbers arrive by email.
-
Step 2
Entries close
Entries close on the closing date, and the draw is on the draw date shown on the raffle page and your ticket - 3 minutes after entries close, unless a later date is given. If every ticket sells first, sales stop, but the draw stays on its date. Public randomness decides the winning ticket.
-
Step 3
Public randomness picks the winner
Each raffle publishes a sealed commitment up front. At the draw time, the drand public randomness beacon decides the winning ticket - and anyone can redo the maths.
Rather just give?
Donate without buying a ticket, from South Africa or abroad, and Win For Good NPC gives it to the cause that needs it most.
